Surveying Honours Year Scholarship

The Course: Bachelor of Spatial Science (Honours)
at the University of Southern Queensland
The scholarship will support a student who has recently completed the Bachelor of Spatial Science Technology (Surveying) and is now commencing their (Honours) year in the Bachelor of Spatial Science (Honours) (Surveying).
Value: $8000 over two years part time or one year full time

Eligibility: You must have completed a Bachelor of Science Technology in the last five years, hold Australian citizenship, and qualify on the grounds of merit or equity.

How can I tell if I have 'equity issues'?
Disadvantage has many forms: you may belong to a minority group, have financial constraints, be trying to re-enter the workforce after having children, have a disability, or live remotely. -
What do you mean by 'merit'?
The selection panel will be interested in not only your academic record, but your overall work history, community involvement, sporting interests. -
What is the procedure for applying?
Apply directly to the University of Southern Queensland when applications open in December. -
I'm an overseas student. Why can't I apply?
The Foundation holds Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status with the Australian Tax Office which limits eligibilty to Australian citizens or those with permanent residency. -
I am a New Zealand citizen. Can I apply?
The Foundation cannot grant scholarships to New Zealand citizens under the ATO DGR tax ruling. -
